Monsoon @ The Asian
Monsoon (man-sun) is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of enthusiasts for the Asian. Museum members who join Monsoon will find dynamic social and educational activities created by and for their peers. Click here for more info or call 415.581.3793.

Connoisseurs’ Council
The Connoisseurs’ Council is composed of Museum members, many of whom are collectors and art enthusiasts. The group raises funds exclusively for new acquisitions, helping the Museum to add rare, important works to its collection. Connoisseurs’ Council members must be members of the Museum and contribute $1800 or more annually. The group meets annually at a black-tie dinner to cast their vote for the purchase of new objects for the collection.

Throughout the year the Connoisseurs’ Council presents programs on a monthly basis to develop connoisseurship of its members. These include hands-on workshops, opportunities to view private collections, events and receptions at local galleries, and travel programs. For more information, please call 415.581.3778.
