Acoustiguide® Bali: Art, Ritual, and Performance Multimedia Tour

Pick up an easy-to-use, handheld multimedia tour of the exhibition and learn more about key works of art, as well as how they were used in Balinese ritual and performance through audio, photos and video. Available in English. Limited supply; first-come, first-served.


Asian Art Museum Members
AAM members enjoy FREE priority admission to Bali for themselves and applicable guests by picking up their tickets at the membership desk at the museum, on the same day of their visit. For extra convenience, members who wish to reserve advance tickets can secure their tickets online. A modest fee of $1.00 per ticket will apply for web sales. 

Please note that Bali tickets are not available for online purchase to reciprocal members, but may be purchased onsite at the museum's admission desk. A photo ID and a valid reciprocal membership card must be presented at the time of purchase. Please note that a $5 special exhibition surcharge applies to reciprocal members. Thursday Nights
The museum is open on Thursday Nights until 9 pm during the exhibition.  After 5 pm, admission is only $10  for Adults and $5 for Youths (13-17).  AAM members, Children (12 and under), Active Military Personnel with ID, and SFUSD Students with ID are always free.  Tickets include admission to Bali and general admission to the museum's collection galleries.  Purchase tickets for Thursday nights online.

On Thursday evenings Cafe Asia also offers a special Tasting Menu for $10, featuring sampler portions of three items (picked on a weekly basis) by Chef Melinda Quirino from the cafe's new Bali-inspired menu.

Target Sundays
Free general museum admission on the first Sunday of each month and the family programs offered on that day is made possible by Target.  Admission to Bali is only $5 on the first Sunday of each month; AAM members, Children and Youths (17 and under), and Active Military Personnel with ID are free.  Admission is granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to capacity restrictions, admission is not guaranteed. Tickets may not be reserved in advance for Target Sundays.

Group Reservations
Group admission and tour times are limited, so book your visit or private tour of Bali today by filling out a reservation form, emailing groupvisits@asianart.org, or calling (415) 581-3624. Please see our group pricing and options below.

Group Admission
Discounts for groups of 10 or more are available when you make a reservation and pay 2 weeks in advance of your scheduled visit.  Group admission rates are: 
Adults: $15
Seniors: $12
College Students with ID: $11
Youths 13-17: $6
AAM members, Children (12 and under), Active Military Personnel, and SFUSD students with ID: FREE
 
Ticket prices include admission to the Museum's collection galleries and timed entry to the exhibition. 

Private Tours
Enhance your visit with a private guided tour of the exhibition, led by our knowledgeable docents. Cost is $100 per tour for a group of up to 20 people. Tour length is approximately 45-60 minutes. Private tours are offered at the following times, subject to availability: 
Tuesdays-Sundays: 10:15 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, and 4 pm
Thursday evenings:  5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, and 7:00 pm
