Lot's of "street theater" and "performance art" as well. As Nico said, this just sprung up. I can't identify what plants they used but it would be nice if they were the flowering variety.

I always find some interesting bit of "street theater" when I go to the main library but I never thought to look at the garden. I must check that out - I wonder if it's one of the slow food gardens?

Between last week's Trauma filming and this new greenery project, Fulton Mall seems to be a mighty popular spot these days. Guess we'll have something new to look at when we end up standing around there after the next fire drill!

Oh, there was something of an herb garden there before--just not the legal kind.
ahem, anyway: this must've just sprung up, as I was looking down on the ranks of Santas assembling for Santarchy just last Saturday and saw no such display of foliage.
I'll check it out en route to the library later, thanks!
