I found a wonderful video on the creation of these amazing puppets on YouTube by director Khi Phu Shin.
At the museum, there will be demonstrations by the Mandalay Marionette Theater Thursday night at our MATCHA event and also during AsiaAlive October 27th through the 31st. Hope to see you there.

This slide show has a wonderful mix of armor and swords. It was very touching watching of this video, there so much sadness and pride within these men.

It is cool to see the building of city hall in the background, and just by the amount of opium pipes being burnt I can’t imagine what a wild west city this used to be.
