On Family Fun Days, our gallery activities, creative art projects and immersive storytelling make art appreciation into a lively, family-friendly event. Themes and projects change regularly, so visit again and again. On May 7, explore tomb arts from the Han dynasty through the new special exhibition Tomb Treasures: New Discoveries from China’s Han Empire. Learn all about Bianzhong bronze bells and create your very own instrument using everyday objects: construct boba straw pan pipes that can be tuned to the ancient scales of the bronze bells. 10:30-11 AM stART Tour for kids ages 3-6 11 AM-2 PM art-making and self-guided activities 1-1:45 PM storytelling for families
