Discover and play as a family at the Asian Art Museum. On Family Fun Days, our kid-friendly gallery tours, creative art projects and immersive storytelling make art appreciation a lively, family-friendly event. Themes and projects change regularly, so visit again and again.
On Sunday, Apr 15, Jun 17 and Jul 15,
Deaf dance master Antoine Hunter and dancers from his Urban Jazz Dance Company
(UJDC) lead three energetic, fun-filled dance, movement and storytelling workshops for families inspired by the special exhibition Divine Bodies
. In a safe space for artistic expression, you will learn to jump, roll and turn as well as how to communicate using your body and non-verbal language. Discover the art of UJDC’s storytelling dance and create your own story too!
Workshops are open to everyone — all-level signers, Deaf children, hearing children, and children of Deaf adults. No prior dance experience necessary.
