Film Screening: “Forever, Chinatown"
Film & Video
“Forever, Chinatown” tells the story of unknown, self-taught 81-year-old artist Frank Wong. Wong has spent the past four decades re-creating his fading memories by building romantic, extraordinarily detailed miniature models of the San Francisco Chinatown rooms of his youth. The film follows Frank’s story as well as looks at the changing scene of Chinatown over the past century. After the film, director James Chan and historian Dorothy Quock join us for an open Q&A.
