Please join us for a talk with Wong moderated by A.C.T. Associate Producer Ken Savage. Wong will discuss his early influences and celebrated career, his advocacy for LGBTQ rights and his return to the San Francisco stage in A.C.T.’s upcoming basketball play, “The Great Leap.” This is an evening you won’t want to miss!

    About BD Wong
Born and raised in San Francisco, BD Wong is the only actor ever to have received all five major New York Theater awards for a single role — his performance in “M. Butterfly.” Wong gained notice on HBO’s “Oz” as the resilient prison priest and as FBI forensic psychiatrist George Huang on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” Other television credits include “Gotham,” “Mr. Robot,” “All-American Girl,” and the HBO telefilms “And the Band Played On” and “The Normal Heart.” Wong has appeared in more than 20 feature films and can also be heard as the voice of Shang in the Disney animated films Mulan and Mulan II.
