    Meet at the information desk

    Explore how Italian architect Gae Aulenti transformed the former Main Library, built in 1917, into the Asian Art Museum in 2003. Then hear about our current transformation project, which includes updates to our collection galleries and the construction of a new 13,000-square-foot exhibition pavilion, opening in 2019.
