    The work of Chang Dai-chien, one of the most acclaimed Chinese artists of the 20th century, is featured in the exhibition Chang Dai-chien: Painting from Heart to Hand, on view through Apr. 26. Learn more about Chang at this screening of excerpts from director Weimin Zhang’s film “Of Color of Ink: Chang Dai-chien After 1949,” introduced by Fan Jeremy Zhang, Barbara and Gerson Bakar Curator of Chinese Art. A conversation between Li Huayi and Arnold Chang, two artists whose work was influenced by Chang's modernization of ink painting, follows the film screening. 

    The film screening is part of a two-day program co-presented by the Asian Art Museum and San Francisco State University, with support from the Mozhai Foundation. On Friday, Mar. 6, join artists and scholars for a one-day symposium at San Francisco State University.
