Nowruz ("New Day") is the Persian New Year, and marks the first day of spring. Welcome the New Year at the Asian Art Museum listening to Persian stories, watching a presentation of Rumi x 7 by Golden Thread Productions, and making your own haft-seen to take home. The haft-seen is a traditional table setting essential to Nowruz. On it are seven things that start with the letter "s" in Farsi.
