Tuesday through Sunday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, with extended evening hours every Thursday until 9:00 pm. The museum is closed on Mondays, New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

"Target First Free Sundays "—free admission to all on the first Sunday of every month and the family programs offered on that day—is made possible by Target Stores.
The museum accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Cards as well as cash.

Visitors will find everything they need to begin and enjoy their visit at the Information Desk (located on the first floor). Visitors may borrow a complimentary audio tour, obtain brochures, find out about the day’s events, and learn about upcoming programs. In addition, members may pick up their membership gifts.
The museum’s Coat Check (located on the first floor) has strollers, wheelchairs, and lightweight folding stools available for loan on a first-come, first-served basis. Backpacks, umbrellas, and all parcels larger than 12x12x12 inches must be checked for safety reasons. Fragile items and valuables are not accepted. The museum is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft of personal items. The contents of all bags and parcels may be inspected for security reasons.
The Asian Art Museum’s interactive Family Programs allow parents and children to explore the many aspects of Asian art and culture together. Cafe Asia provides dining in a casual setting. The cafe offers a variety of hot and cold entrees, sushi, sandwiches, snacks, and desserts, as well as full beverage service, including wine, beer, sake, and authentic Asian teas. Entrance to the Cafe does not require paid admission to the museum.
The Museum Store carries a variety of unique and Asian-themed merchandise from around the world. Many items are made exclusively for the museum. Entrance to the store does not require paid admission
