This TAKEOVER illuminates the impact of food and drinks on the environment and how our consumption choices can actually help reverse climate change. Along with some of their favorite partners and fellow environmental food pioneers, the pair will present an evening of ideas, conversation and questions. Interactive stations will unpack the carbon footprint of common ingredients and the climate change potential of perennial plants, and five short-short films made in collaboration with artist/illustrator Jon Adams and produced by Bonfire Labs will be screened.
Myint and Leibowitz will be joined by representatives of a growing movement to make food part of the climate change solution, from 18 Reasons, California College of the Arts, IDEO, Imperfect Produce, Soil Solutions, Singing Frogs Farm, and others.
