The Tateuchi Thematic Gallery displays a rotating collection of artwork based on selected themes relating to Asian art and culture. Past themes have included The Art of the Book; Fakes, Copies, and Question Marks: Forensic Investigations of Asian Art; and Elephants on Parade. Artwork in this gallery, located on the second floor between the Korean and Japanese collections, is chosen mainly from the museum's permanent collection.
