The artworks on view in this gallery, located on the second floor between the Korean and Japanese collections, rotate periodically. They are chosen mainly from the museum’s permanent collection (while galleries on the ground floor present larger special and traveling exhibitions) to illustrate selected themes relating to Asian art and culture. Past exhibitions in this gallery have included The Art of the Book; Fakes, Copies, and Question Marks: Forensic Investigations of Asian Art; Elephants on Parade; Sights Unseen: Recent Acquisitions, and others.
